Custom Parts and Engineering in Key West, Florida
Need a part you can't buy? A holder that does not exist? A piece that broke, and the maker only sells the whole machine?
We design it. We make it. One piece or a few hundred.
I'm Matt. I have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a shop full of machines in Key West. You get one person who can draw the part and build it.

Milling aluminum on our CNC machine.
What we can make
CNC cutting and carving. Wood, plastic, and soft metals like aluminum, brass, and copper. Parts up to about 12" x 16" (300 mm x 400 mm) and about 2" (50 mm) thick. Brackets, plates, panels, molds, jigs, and mounts.
Laser cutting and engraving. Flat parts up to 8" x 12" (200 mm x 300 mm), cut from acrylic, wood, and other sheet material up to 1/8" (3 mm) thick. Names, logos, and part numbers marked on metal, plastic, and wood.
3D printing. Parts up to 8" (200 mm) in each direction, in PLA, PETG, and other plastics as needed. Prototypes, covers, clips, housings, spacers, and replacement parts.
Design help. Have a sketch, a broken part, or just a problem? I measure it, draw it in CAD, and show you the drawing before anything is made.
Jigs, holders, and replacement parts
- Jigs and work holders. A fixture that holds a part the same way every time, so 50 pieces all match.
- Guides and templates. A simple tool that makes a hard job easy to repeat.
- Replacement parts. A clip, cap, bracket, or mount that broke and is no longer sold.
- Custom holders and mounts. Something to hold a bottle, a wand, a bowl, or a mirror right where you want it.
- Molds. Test the shape in plastic first. Cut it in aluminum when it works.
- Cosplay pieces and props. Bring your own model, or we can help you make an original one. We print it and finish it.
A real example: the part they would not sell
A dental office had a broken holder clip on a piece of equipment. The maker would not sell the clip alone. They only sold the whole machine.
We measured it, drew it, and printed a new one. It is mounted and working.

If something you own is stuck the same way, send us a photo.
Try it cheap first
We often print a rough draft before we cut metal. A draft costs very little. It shows us if the shape works.

How it works
- Tell us what you need. Text a photo, a sketch, or a broken part. No drawing needed.
- We quote it. You get a clear price. It covers design time and the part.
- You approve a drawing. You see the part before we make it.
- We make it. You pay a deposit up front. We build it in Key West.
- You get it. Pick up locally, or we ship anywhere in the US.
Small runs are welcome. One piece is fine. Fifty is fine. We keep your drawing on file, so reordering is easy.
What we do not make
We do not make parts that hold up a person or a heavy load. That means lifting points, steering parts, and anything where a break could hurt someone. Those need a licensed engineer to sign off. If you are not sure, ask. We will tell you straight.
We also only work from designs that you own, that we draw for you, or that you have the right to use.
Questions
How much does it cost? It depends on the size, the material, and the design time. Send a photo and you get a price.
How fast can you make it? Simple parts can be ready in a few days. We give you a date with the quote.
Can you copy a part I already have? Yes. Bring it in or send photos and measurements. We draw it from scratch.
Do I pay up front? Yes, a deposit. Custom parts cannot be resold, so we start once the deposit is in.
Do you only work in Key West? No. Local jobs can be picked up. We ship anywhere in the US.
